The end of the week will feel like Fall thanks to a cold front

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — We’re waking up this morning similar to the last couple of mornings in the way we do have another round of fog across the area.

This will continue as we go through the morning before, as typical, burning off as we go through the mid-morning.

Also dotting the landscape this morning are some showers falling from a whole lot of clouds. This will be the trend through the first half of the day, too.

This afternoon we work on decreasing the clouds and getting rid of the showers.

We’ll also work on getting rid of the humidity as we go through the day.

By the time we end the day, you’ll really notice that reduction in humidity! Highs today in the 80s

Tonight skies are clearing, temperatures are cooler. Humidity is lower. Lows in the 60s

Thursday brings a lot of sunshine and cooler, drier and more comfortable air.

Thursday gives way to an even nicer Friday (after a cool start Friday AM).

The weekend isn’t bad, either: dry on Saturday. Maybe a few storms come Sunday.
