LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — We are waking up to drier and less humidity today.
Sunday morning will start off with a few lingering clouds.
Perhaps even a straggling shower along the southside before we quickly dry out by mid-morning. I expect most to start dry and end dry on Sunday.

Sunshine quickly comes back out to greet us by mid-morning on Sunday and it's sticking around through the day.
Lots of sunshine for Sunday afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s. Some may flirt with 80.
Skies are clear overnight. Lows in the 50s.

More of the same for Monday. A few more clouds, perhaps a touch more humidity but it's still dry.
Not a lot going on next week as high-pressure blocks anything of consequential weather outside of the area.
We may see some stray showers by Thursday and Friday but I think the better chance comes for the second half of the Memorial Day weekend.
Temperatures are also fairly steady in the upper 70s to the lower 80s.
