It's going to be another really nice day on tap for us!

Sunday brings more sunshine and a rather stiff westerly breeze.

With those two things, it's going to get rather warm as we go through the afternoon. We're shooting for the upper 80s in the mountains, but everyone else could see temperatures soar into the lower to middle 90s across the area!

There is more where that came from too.

With a rather tranquil week ahead as a ridge of high pressure sets up shop, it will keep rain away from our area at least until the middle to the end of the work week. Labor Day Monday will feel more like mid-summer rather than the unofficial end of summer.

We'll again shoot for the mid-90s for the highs.

Don't shut the pools down for the season after Labor Day - More of the same coming on Tuesday and Wednesday, too.

Heat still continues to close the week, but maybe a little bit taken off as we reintroduce the chance of some showers and storms in the afternoon as humidity levels will also increase.

Either Saturday or Sunday a front will clear the area and that will bring us back down to a more normal temperature pattern as we head into the third week of September.
