LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Many ABC13 viewers witnessed the Space X Starlink satellites on Friday night. If you missed viewing them, you can see them again Saturday night.
Starlink will be visible on Saturday at 8:53 p.m., for about 5 minutes. The satellites will travel across the night sky from W to NE.
The Starlink satellites are a “satellite train” of lights. These are communication satellites providing internet coverage on a global scale. The satellites rotate the globe about 340 miles above the ground.
Many report they resemble UFOs or Santa and his reindeer.
The satellite train will also be visible Sunday night at 8:59 p.m.
