Cherisse Hoffman

Cherisse Hoffman joined the ABC 13 team in July 2023.

She was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland. However, she has roots here in Lynchburg and is excited to be close to her family in the area.

Cherisse began her career behind the scenes, in Master Control at Fox 45 News in Baltimore. She has always desired to work in News, which led her to WINK News in Fort Myers, Florida as an Assignment Editor, where she developed story ideas and used her skilled “scanner ears” to chase breaking news.

Cherisse is very excited to be able to step from behind the scenes and fulfill her ultimate goal of being a reporter.

Cherisse is a proud graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland where she served as a reporter, producer, and anchor for the University TV station, “Bear Tv”.

During her free time, Cherisse likes to exercise, attend plays and musicals, dance like nobody’s watching, and cheer on the Washington Commanders and the Washington Nationals!
