Lynchburg Baseball defeats Hampden-Sydney 8-2

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Lynchburg broke open a 2-0 game with five runs in the fourth en route to an 8-2 ODAC win over Hampden-Sydney Tuesday afternoon at Lynchburg.

Former Tunstall star Brad Hylton got the scoring started for Lynchburg in the decisive fourth with a 2-run single to center, Hylton went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the game.

Will Harris also had two hits and drove in a run for the Hornets.

Moe Gothe had an RBI single for Hampden-Sydney.

Lynchburg improves to 13-and-15 on the season with the win, Hampden-Sydney falls to 11-and-13.
