LU's Turner Gill looking for less penalties this week

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - The 2-and-0 Liberty Flames host 0-and-2 Indiana State this Saturday night at 6.

LU is going for its first 3-and-0 start since 2008 when the Flames won a program-record 10 games. Liberty routed Morehead State in its last game 58-17.

The Flames have looked impressive in their first two wins, but Coach Turner Gill wants to see less penalties...six for the Flames last week for 85 yards.

Turner Gill, LIBERTY FLAMES HEAD COACH, said "We've addressed it, now we're going to see how they're going to respond as they get into a football game. We still want 'em to be aggressive, we don't want to take that away from 'em. But there are some certain things that we can teach them that can prevent some of the penalties that did occur."
