Hokies enjoy brief time off during bye week

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WSET) - The Hokies are off this week before HOSTING the Tar Heels NEXT Saturday.

After recruiting all day Friday, head coach Justin Fuente says he and the family will go out early Saturday to a pumpkin patch and hang out before watching football in the afternoon and evening.

Justin Fuente, VIRGINIA TECH HEAD COACH (HOKIES 5-1), said "Like I'm fortunate, like my wife and my kids are into it, so we'll go do something in the morning and then during nap time the TV will come on and we'll watch some games and piddle around."

Brandon Facyson, HOKIES SENIOR CORNERBACK, said "You know our coaches encourage us to go home and watch football regardless of the situation. But it's very relaxing, just watching other teams, you know, play against other teams and, you know, be able to take things away from that."
