Edmunds, Kiser, Lauletta named Dudley Award finalists
RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) - Finalists have been announced for this year's Dudley and Lanier Awards, presented to the best college football players in Virginia.
Dudley Award finalists for the top Division One player include Virginia Tech linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and Virginia linebacker Micah Kiser, Kiser is also a finalist Tuesday night for the Campbell Trophy in New York City, recognizing the nation's top football scholar-athlete. Richmond quarterback Kyle Lauletta is also a finalist for the Dudley Award, which will be handed out this Sunday night in Richmond.
Lanier Award finalists for the top small-college player are Washington & Lee running back Josh Breece, Virginia State running back Trenton Cannon and Hampden-Sydney wide receiver Cam Johnson out of Buckingham County.
