V.E.S. junior Patrick Kelly makes early commitment to Penn State
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - Thursday afternoon at V.E.S., junior Patrick Kelly announced his early college commitment for basketball.
The 6-8 Bishops forward, who told me he received eight Division One offers, pulls out the Penn State hat, Kelly will be a Nittany Lion after completing his senior season next year at V.E.S.
Patrick Kelly, MAKES EARLY COMMITMENT TO PENN STATE, said "Well I feel like Penn State was the school that was meant for me. So I mean I was also considering heavily other schools, but I feel like Penn State was the one so that's why I chose it early. Well they liked my game but they also liked the fact that after a tournament I kissed my grandma after we lost. I missed a buzzer-beater, I lost. But after the end, I kissed my grandma. They said that's actually the reason they offered me."
