E.C. Glass boys lacrosse prepares for state title game
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - The unbeaten 20-and-0 E.C. Glass boys lacrosse team was hard at work Thursday afternoon, practicing for this Saturday's state championship game against Dominion High out of Northern Virginia.
Dominion on Tuesday night knocked off the Riverside team that beat Glass in last year's state title game.
Glass and Dominion played early this season on a neutral field with the Hilltoppers winning 18-10.
Ten goals is the most Glass has allowed all season.
Eddie Ranuska, E.C. GLASS HEAD COACH, said "They have some very skilled players, some D-1 caliber players and they can really score some goals. So our biggest thing is to possess the ball, execute offense at a high level and make our possessions count."
Max Gladieux, E.C. GLASS SOPH. MIDFIELD, said "I've been waiting for this game all year and the whole team has, too. We've just been preparing all year and this is what we've been wanting."
