LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - A familiar face is returning to the football sidelines this fall at L.C.A.

Former head coach, and current Bulldog Athletic Director, Frank Rocco is returning to coach the L.C.A. football team this fall, according to the school.

Rocco takes over for his son Chris, who spent two seasons coaching the Bulldogs, before resigning in March.

Frank Rocco led L.C.A. to 6 state titles over 12 years, during their time in the VISAA, compiling a 113-12 record.

School spokesperson Ashley Young says Rocco will continue his duties as the school's athletic director.
