2017 Outlook: Coach Matt Allen knew 2016 would be a learning year, with a young squad to coach. Despite the 3-7 showing, the Cavaliers are making huge strides towards a strong 2017 season. 14 total starters are back, including Sr. Parker Martin, who was second team all conference as a RB, and first team as a DB. Sophomore Zae Edmunds looks for another breakout season, after leading the team in receiving yards as a freshman last year. Sophomore Ethan Reynolds steps in to get the snaps at QB. The defense will need an improved effort this season to compete against some strong competition. If it all comes together, the Cavs could turns some heads and starting handing out some ā€œLā€ā€™s.
