Large asteroid to pass Earth April 19

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - A large asteroid will pass us by on April 19.

The asteroid, 2014 JO25, will be 1.1 million miles away from the planet when it whizzes by.

According to NASA, this is the largest asteroid has come this close to Earth in 13 years.

2014 JO25 has a reflective surface so you might be able to spot it with a telescope.
