Virginia Tech student arrested on Peeping Tom charges

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WSET) - Police in Blacksburg have arrested a Virginia Tech student accused of being a peeping Tom.

20 year old Anuj Shailesh Parekh, of Mumbai, India, was arrested on Wednesday night on six charges in connection with an ongoing voyeurism investigation.

Parekh is charged withfelony burglary with the intent to commit a misdemeanor, felony burglary with the intent to commit a felony, felony burglary with the intent to commit a larceny, two misdemeanor counts of Peeping Tom, and a misdemeanor count of damaged property.

The charges are a result of an ongoing investigation mainly in the north end of the town of Blacksburg. The Blacksburg police are conducting the investigation.

Parekh is being held at the Montgomery County Jail.
