Police search for missing, endangered Virginia mother & daughter
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WSET) - The Prince William County Police Department is looking for a missing, endangered adult and infant.
Police say Amira Angelica Jones and Aniyha Grace Copeland were last seen August 3.
The investigation revealed Jones voluntarily left her home in the 3400 block of Beale Ct. in Woodbridge and didn't come home.
A family member told police they returned home August 4 to find Jones, her infant daughter Aniyha, and their belongings gone.
Family contacted police August 10 after not hearing from Jones since she went missing.
Police believe Jones may be in need of assistance which qualifies her as being endangered.
Officers say they're concerned for Aniyah's welfare.
Amira Angelica Jones is described as a 25-year-old black female, 5’4’’, and 220 lbs. She has brown eyes and black hair. It is unknown what Ms. Jones may be wearing.
Aniyha Grace Copeland is described as a 1-year old black female, approximately 20 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
