ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- Actor, playwright, filmmaker, and comedian Tyler Perry has announced his final play is coming to Roanoke!
"Madea's Farewell Play Tour" will be his 21st stage play and will be at the Berglund Center on April 24 at 7 p.m.
In addition to Perry reprising his role as Madea, the play will star Tamela Mann, David Mann, and Cassi Davis Patton.
Perry made headlines in November when he announced his decision to retire his Madea character in 2019 with the stage play and with the upcoming film "Madea's Family Funeral" which will be released March 1.
Tickets for "Madea's Farewell Play Tour" go on sale December 7 at 10:00 a.m. and range from $47 to $107.
