BEDFORD Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Bedford County Sheriff's Office said they have made a second arrest and identified the two other suspects in connection to the murder of Aaron Brumfield in Forest.
They announced Wednesday that Nadia La-sha McDaniel, 21, was currently charged with breaking and entering, while armed with a firearm, with the intent to commit robbery.
She is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
Trevor James McIntosh, 23, was arrested in Lynchburg Thursday morning and served with a Bedford County warrant for second degree murder.
Arrest warrants have been obtained for both Tevante D. Pannell and Robert D. Goodman for the second degree murder of Aaron Brumfield.
According to police, Bedford 911 received a 911 call from a man saying his roommate had been shot on Friday at 11:44 p.m.
Deputies arrived to the scene at 1034 River Oak Drive at 11:50 p.m. and found Brumfield on the floor suffering from several gunshot wounds.
Deputies performed CPR until rescue squads arrived.
22-year-old Brumfield was pronounced dead by the rescue squad at 12:06 a.m.
Bedford County Sheriff’s Office investigators with the assistance of the United States Marshals Services Fugitive Team, Lynchburg Police Department, Altavista Police Department and Campbell County Sheriff’s Office continue to search for Pannell and Goodman, who remain at large.
Additional charges against all four of the individuals arrested in this investigation are possible as the investigation evolves.
