Two arrested, charged after deputies find drugs during traffic stop

BOTETOURT Co., Va. (WSET) - The Botetourt County Sheriff's Office says two people are behind bars after a traffic stop Saturday.

Officials say the stop was in the 1100 block of Roanoke Road (Route 220), and deputies found illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash, and a gun.

Eric R. Henegar, 44, of Henry, a small town in Franklin County, and Kimberly A. Henegar, 45, of Henry, were arrested.

The two are each charged with possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Eric Henegar is also charged with driving on a revoked license and having forged or altered tags.

Kimberly Henegar is charged also charged with possessing schedule IV drugs.

The sheriff's office says the two are being held at the Botetourt-Craig Regional Jail, and additional charges are expected.
