Two area schools take home honors in "Drive Alive" campaign

SALEM, Va. (WSET) - The winners of the 2016 "Drive Alive" teen safe drinking campaign have been announced.

YOVASO and State Police partnered for the campaign to keep teens safe on the road.

Two schools in our area took home honors.

Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte County got first place in the high school division.

The school will get a day with with DRIVE SMART Virginia Distracted Driving Simulator.

And Central Academy Middle School in Botetourt County got first place in the middle school division.

The school will get a cash prize funded by the Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education.
