Trump campaign signs vandalized in Lynchburg, woman says

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Donald Trump campaign signs are being vandalized in Lynchburg, says one woman.

Homeowner Joyce McGrath says someone spray-painted the words, "I'M RACIST" on the Trump signs on her front lawn.

She says this isn't the first time she's had problems with the sign- not long ago, her first one was stolen from her property.

"I found it this way this morning, as well as my neighbors' sign," says McGrath as she holds the sign.

"People are trying to destroy our freedom, but luckily I have extra Trump signs," she adds.

Once McGrath told the Virginia campaign coordinator about the vandalized signs, she says he gave her fifteen more.

"They want to destroy my signs, I'll continue to replace them, so everybody watch out!" McGrath says with defiance.

McGrath says she's filed a police report with the Lynchburg Police Department, and she hopes the perpetrator will be caught.
