CAMPBELL Co., Va. (WSET) -- It's become a time honored tradition at Brookville High School that involves new seniors.
Each year, incoming seniors get to share a little of themselves with the entire Bee-hive Community and those who drive down Timberlake Road.
"It was something that our former principal Mr. Whorley wanted to do," said Bobby Markey, a teacher at Brookville high School. "The seniors had been asking for many years so finally he said lets do it."
That was 12 years ago, the class of 2008 were the initial students to paint the wall.
Even after Jim Whorley passed away after the first year the tradition continued.
The next group of seniors will paint over the wall and put their own mark on it.
