ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) -- The Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department reported that three adults were able to safely evacuate a residential fire late Friday night.
The department said that they responded to the 2200 block of Coachman Drive, which is located in the Bonsack area in Roanoke County, around 10:46 p.m. on November 6.
On arrival, crews found heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear and garage area of a two-story, wood-frame structure.
The fire was able to be brought under control in about 30 minutes and no injuries were reported.
The three adults who were able to evacuate will be displaced and will stay with family in the area.

At the time of the fire, there were no working smoke alarms in the home and damages are estimated at $220,000.
