Three arrested for manufacturing marijuana in Giles County; police found over 100 plants

GILES Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Giles County Sheriff’s Office say they arrested three men Sunday, June 23, after deputies concluded an investigation into the manufacturing of marijuana.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Sylvester Deja Simard, 26-year-old Alexander Smith Ross, and 18-year-old Jeremiah Davis Sarver-Wolf, all of Floyd, Va.

All three have been charged with manufacturing marijuana and conspiracy to manufacture marijuana.

Deputies found the three men with over 100 plants and other items used in the cultivation of marijuana.

All three are being held in the New River Valley Regional Jail without bail.
