LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Do you celebrate Pi Day with a piece of pie? On March 14--or Pi Day--Texas Inn will give customers a chance to do just that, for a good price.
All day at all three of their locations Texas Inn will offer slices of pie for $3.14. 100% of the pie sales will be going to Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation and Harrisonburg Education Foundation.
Pieces of pie are usually sold for $3.99 but the store said the sale is happening "in honor of the universe's most irrational number."
"Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth craving with numerous pie varieties, including chocolate, apple, coconut meringue, lemon ice box, sweet potato, pecan, or the diner's new seasonal option — Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie," Texas Inn said.
Texas Inn is also known as "The T Room" to locals.
