Sheriff: Teen flown to hospital after possible road rage incident; search on for suspects
MONTGOMERY Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing related to a possible road rage incident.
The sheriff's office said deputies responded to the Radford Travel Center on Tyler Road in Christiansburg where a 17-year-old man was airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
No other information is going to be released on the juvenile.
The sheriff's office said it's currently looking for a burgundy CR-V with the Virginia "scenic" license plate, example below:
Investigators said the vehicle had a pink car seat in the middle of the back seat and the driver was a woman with dark hair and a gray hoodie.
The passenger, who the sheriff's office said is the possible suspect, is a heavy-set man with a thin mustache, wearing black track pants with a white stripe on the legs and a gray hoodie.
A specific license plate was not available.
