Rt. 29 South closed in Nelson County due to tractor trailer crash

NELSON Co., Va. (WSET) -- Part of Route 29 in Nelson County is currently closed due to a tractor trailer crash.

According to VDOT, the southbound lanes and the left northbound lane is closed in the Shipman area of Rt. 29.

First responders say only the Walmart tractor trailer was involved in the crash, and there were no injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
