UPDATE: 11 p.m.
Roanoke Police said officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 12th Street, SW and Salem Avenue in Roanoke around 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 18.
When they got there, police said they found a juvenile who had been shot in the neck.
Police said officers spoke with John Billett, 47, at the scene, who told them he had made arrangements online to meet with Rodnicka Richardson, 20, to sell a motorcycle.
During their meeting, Billett said Richardson was joined by Khalil Graves, 20, and the juvenile.
When he asked for payment before giving Richardson the motorcycle's papers, the juvenile pulled out a gun and demanded the motorcycle.
Billett, who was armed, shot the juvenile in the neck.
Roanoke Fire-EMS took the juvenile to the hospital, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Richardson and Graves were arrested and charged with robbery and taken to the Roanoke City Jail.
Charges on the juvenile are pending.
This case is ongoing.

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- The Roanoke Police Department said it's responding to a shooting on Salem Avenue in Roanoke.
Police said all individuals are cooperating with police or in custody.
There is no threat to the public.
