Police: 11-year-old Roanoke girl found safe

UPDATE: Roanoke Police say Destiny was found safe at around 5:30 p.m.


ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- The Roanoke Police Department is asking for you help locating a missing girl.

Destiny Cheyanne Kellar, 11, was last seen around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Woods Avenue SW.

She is about 4'11", usually wears glasses and has small scars on her arms and legs.

She was last seen wearing either a gray graphic shirt with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the front or a pink/burgundy shirt.

Her hair was braided and in a bun.

Police don't think Destiny is in danger, but want to get her home as soon as possible.

They say she is possibly in the Northwest area or headed that way, or in other parts of Roanoke.
