Randolph College re-evaluates viability of riding program
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Randolph College President Bradley Bateman said in a letter that the board of trustees is reviewing its riding program to see if it is financially viable.
According to Bateman, the program is costing the school more than $1 million every three years, while student interest is declining.
There is now a group petitioning to save the program.
The school has not yet made a decision to close it.
