Police: Two suffer non-life threatening injuries following shooting in Danville

DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- Police say officers responded to a shots fired call in the 1000 block of Paxton Street in Danville Tuesday evening.

They say at around 6:15 p.m. officers discovered two Danville residents suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to police, a 59 year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg and a 34-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand.

Both were treated at SOVAH Health for non-life threatening injuries and released.

This incident is under investigation.
