Police: Suspect wanted after hitting 12-year-old riding bike, taking off
Radford Police said they determined the vehicle in the photo was not related to the incident.
RADFORD, Va. (WSET) -- Radford City Police is looking for a suspect after a 12-year-old was hit while riding his bike.
Police said the boy was hit around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 in the 500 block of Preston Street.
They said he was riding his bike and was hit by a vehicle described as a "light red, four-door sedan" that then took off.
Police said the boy had non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
Investigators hope you can recognize the vehicle or know something about the driver, they provided a photo of the vehicle belonging to someone that might have information about the crash.
