Police: One person injured, sent to hospital after shooting in Roanoke
ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- Roanoke Police say they are now investigating after a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
Officials say the shooting happened 7:25 p.m., on Saturday, at 1638 Hershberger Road NW.
Police tell ABC13, that the person they believe is responsible, as well as the weapon, have both been found and are now in their custody.
Officials say the victim was alive and conscious, when they left the scene.
Police say this is an active investigation.
Charges are pending.
