Police: Man charged with stabbing, cutting 2 people in Lynchburg
LYNCHBURG, Va (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department said a man has been charged after a stabbing in Lynchburg Thursday evening.
Police said officers were called to the 3400 block of Campbell Avenue for the report of a malicious wounding around 9:40 p.m.
Officers were able to locate the suspect a short distance away from the scene and police contacted the Criminal Investigators Division was contacted.
The first victim, a 56-year-old, was taken to the hospital where he is being treated for multiple stab wounds.
The second victim, a 55-year-old, showed up to the hospital on their own for a single laceration to the arm.
Quintin Andra Jones, 30, was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding and malicious wounding.
