Police: Man arrested after harassing customers at local business
RADFORD, Va. (WSET) - A Radford man is facing several charges after police say he was harassing people at a local business.
According to Radford City Police, officers responded to the 300 block of West Main Street Tuesday around 11 a.m. because a man was harassing customers at a local business and claimed to have a gun.
Police caught the man, now identified as Joseph D. Sayers, 37, in the 400 block of West Main Street.
Sayers is charged with abduction, assault and battery, appearing in public in an intoxicated manner, and carrying a concealed weapon.
He's currently being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
