Police: Body presumably belongs missing Martinsville man

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WSET) - Martinsville Police say a man's body was found Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to a wooded area of Barrows Mill Road.

Officials say the body is presumed to be Larry Hinchee, and was found about 1.5 miles from his home.

Hinchee was last seen on foot Saturday, March 24.

Police say his family has been notified.

They say the body has been taken to the Medical Examiners' Office in Roanoke to determine cause of death and official identification.

The Henry County Sheriff's office is leading the investigation.

They say no other information can be released at this time.
