LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) - The Lynchburg Police Department is looking for the multiple suspects involved in an armed robbery at Fast Mart #5 late Wednesday night.

On December 6 at 10:40 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery at 1400 Campbell Avenue.

The three suspects are described as wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.

This isn't the first time one of the store's cashiers has been robbed, either.

Manpreet Singh says he's been robbed at gunpoint four times.

Surveillance video shows all three entering the store, one moving behind the counter demanding the employee open the register, one in front of the counter displaying a firearm and one standing by the front door.

Singh says it lasted only a couple of minutes, but it felt like forever.

"I was totally scared and screwed up and don't know what to do and raised my hands and didn't move anything," he said.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subjects fled the scene on foot toward 12th Street.

"It's not worth it. Nothing is more important than your life and it keeps happening again and again every year, I can't take anymore," Singh said.

This investigation is active and ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective D. Dempsey at (434)455-6161 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900.
