Police: 3 facing drug charges after disorderly call in Lynchburg
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department said three people have been arrested after a drug investigation.
Police said Officer J.S. Howard responded to a disorderly call for service in the 1000 block of Floyd Street on Sunday, May 20.
On the scene, Officer Howard began a search of the area in an attempt to locate and identify the disorderly suspects, police said, and while he was searching he located three men behind a home.
Police said none of the suspects live in the area.
As a result of the investigation, the three are now facing drug charges.
Police said O’Neil Loshay Davis, 23, of Lynchburg has been charged with possession of marijuana; Tion Dequan Crawford, 22, of Lynchburg is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; and Jeffrey Darnell Lewis Jr., 20, of Lynchburg, is charged with possession of a schedule II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a concealed handgun, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance.
