Police: 29-year-old Lynchburg man arrested for sharing child porn online

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department's Forensics Unit in conjunction with the Southern Virginia ICAC Task Force have arrested a man they said was sharing child porn online in Lynchburg.

During their investigation, police said they got a search warrant for a home in the Heritage Circle area.

Police said Jeremy Cole Whorley, 29, was identified as a possible suspect.

He was arrested without incident on Tuesday, July 10 and charged with 10 counts of possessing child porn by LPD's Forensics Unit.

Whorley is currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Lynchburg with no bond.
