Police: 29-year-old killed in motorcycle crash, speed believed to be a factor


    FRANKLIN Co., Va. (WSET) -- Police have identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash in Franklin County.

    They said 29-year-old Brent Carrington Law of Moneta was traveling east on Route 616 when he crossed the double yellow line and struck a van head-on.

    According to police, Law died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.

    They said the driver of the van and the passenger were injured and taken to the hospital.

    Police said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

    The crash remains under investigation.
