One arrested, 3 others at large after 22-year-old murdered in Forest

BEDFORD Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Bedford County Sheriff's Office said they have made an arrest in connection to the murder of Aaron Brumfield in Forest.

The sheriff's office said Nadia La-sha McDaniel, 21, is currently charged with breaking and entering, while armed with a firearm, with the intent to commit robbery.

She is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.

According to police, Bedford 911 received a 911 call from a man saying his roommate had been shot on Friday at 11:44 p.m.

Deputies arrived to the scene at 1034 River Oak Drive at 11:50 p.m. and found Brumfield on the floor suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Deputies performed CPR until rescue squads arrived.

22-year-old Brumfield was pronounced dead by the rescue squad at 12:06 a.m.

Additional charges against McDaniel are possible as the investigation continues.

The sheriff's office said they have also obtained a warrant for Trevor James McIntosh, 23, for second degree murder.

Investigators are trying to identify two other suspects in the attached photos with one wearing a white shirt and dark pant and the other wearing a dark color sweat shirt with writing on the front.

McIntosh remains at large.
