Officials: Two cars lost in Axton house fire, no injuries

AXTON, Va. (WSET) - Crews responded to a house fire on Country Place Road in Axton on Wednesday.

Officials say close to 50 firefighters were at the scene and no one was injured.

Officials say the family was not home and neither was the dog.

Officials say two cars in the garage were destroyed, but one classic car was saved.

The Fire Marshal's Office says it will take a couple of days to investigate what caused the fire.
