Sheriff's Office looking for Rustburg man connected to domestic dispute

CAMPBELL Co., Va. (WSET)- The Campbell County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they say is connected to a dispute deputies responded to Thursday morning.

Deputies were called to Shercell Lane in Rustburg around 8 a.m. to a domestic dispute.

Officials say the suspect, Bobby W. Dalton, Jr., of Campbell County, fled the scene on foot.

The sheriff's office collaborated with Liberty University Police to search for Dalton.

Officials say Dalton has not been located.

The investigation revealed Dalton is wanted on outstanding charges from Lynchburg and Appomattox County.

Those charges include violating probation and failing to appear in court.

The sheriff's office says Dalton is 5’5”, approximately 194 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a light blue shirt and blue jeans.

Officials say Dalton should not be approached.
