No occupants found after car falls down 30-foot embankment in Bedford Co.

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — Officials said they found a car that had crashed over a 30-foot embankment in Bedford County, but they couldn't find any occupants.

The Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Volunteer Fire Department said they were dispatched to the 5000 Block of Jordantown Road on Monday.

Responding crews found a car that had gone 30 feet down an embankment deep in the woods.

"After an extensive search for possible occupants, none were located," SCVFD said.

Firefighters said the scene was then turned over to VSP.
