LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Neighbors in our community are helping each other stay warm.
As the temperatures continue to drop, people have been donating gently-used clothes to the Clothing Connection in Lynchburg. Park View Community Mission is the organization behind this operation, which is stocked with donated shirts, coats, pants and shoes.
"Our goal is to clothe our neighbors in things they want to wear, there is no point in putting things out that are stained or out of season," said Ashley Steinweg, Director of Development with Park View Community Mission.
Everything in the clothing connection is free, no questions asked.
The space, which is located in the lower level of the plaza off of Memorial Avenue, is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
