Two charged after accident in Roanoke Co. that sent two to hospital

Roanoke County Police said two people were charged following an accident that sent two people to the hospital.
Police said a driver in a Hyundai Sedan was driving south on Electric Road (toward Tanglewood Mall) when they tried to make a left turn onto Colonial Avenue. A driver in a Ford Ranger going north on Electric Road hit the Sedan head on.
At the same time, police said a driver in a Chevrolet Silverado was in the southbound lane on Electric Road waiting to turn left on Colonial Avenue and was also hit by the Ranger.
There were two people in the Hyundai, two in the Ranger, and one in the Silverado.
The drivers of the Hyundai and the Ranger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai was charged with failure to yield right of way and the driver of the Silverado was charged with not having a valid license.
ROANOKE Co. ,Va. (WSET) - Roanoke County Police and Fire & Rescue are responding to a multiple vehicle accident that sent two people to the hospital Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred at around 7:59 a.m. on the intersection of Route 419 and Colonial Ave., according to Roanoke Co. dispatch.
Two people were sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Officers are still on the scene of the crash.
