Missing toddler from Va. found dead in suitcase in New Jersey, father missing

RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- The body of a toddler found dead inside a suitcase in New Jersey has been identified as a missing two-year-old from Richmond.

Police said the toddler was last seen in August 2017.

Richmond Police announced two-year-old Te'Myah Plummer and her father Travis Plummer were missing on March 21, but were not in danger.

On April 13, authorities in New Jersey announced that a baby had been found dead in a suitcase under a footbridge in Jersey City.

WABC in New York announced that the child was identified as Te'Myah Plummer on Monday.

Police do not know where Travis Plummer is.

He's described as a 5-foot-8, 250-pound black male with a medium complexion.
