LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Get ready Lynchburg!
Miller Park Pool will be open for Memorial Day celebrations and to kick off the summer on Monday.
The pool, located at 2100 Park Avenue, has a spiral water slide, low and high diving boards, a concession area, a kiddie pool, and a giant mushroom with cascading water.
Admission for the holiday opening, or any other special event, is $5 per person, for ages 3 and up. Children under 2 years of age are free. Regular admission during the season will be $3 per person, with children 2 and under still free.

Miller Park Pool will open for weekend-only admission from May 29 to June 11 and then will be open daily from June 12 to August 6, before returning to weekend-only August 12 to September 4 to finish out the season. Weekly hours are Sunday through Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m.
Now is also a great time to sign up for our American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program, for kids and adults. This program entails two consecutive weeks of age-appropriate courses to learn and enhance swimming skills beginning in June. Click here to find classes.

The Riverside Park Sprayground is also open daily and will remain open through September 4. Hours are 10 a.m. through 7 p.m.
The Riverfront Park Fountains were not scheduled to open this season due to construction. However, there is a chance that they may open for a few weeks prior to the beginning of construction.
