Medical Examiner: Woman's death in Danville fire ruled accidental

DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) -- The death of a Danville woman in a house fire has been ruled accidental, according to the Medical Examiner.

They say she died from inhalation of smoke and soot.

The fire happened Thursday, July 5 on the 200 block of First Street in Danville.

Louvenia Loney, 87, was found dead in her home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
