Lynchburg man arrested after police find marijuana, oxycodone in home: police

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- The Lynchburg Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a search warrant that was completed last week.

The Lynchburg Police Department said 36-year-old Harold Stewart of Lynchburg was arrested after a search warrant led to the discovery of various drugs and money.

Police said that officers completed a search warrant in the 1500 block of Ramsgate Lane at around 9:27 a.m. on March 6.

Police said that they found over a pound of marijuana, nearly four dozen Oxycodone pills and cash.

According to police, Stewart is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I/II narcotic and one count of possession to distribute marijuana.

This is an ongoing investigation.
